Thank you so much for your interest in supporting one of our houseless keiki for their school supplies this year. Houselessness already poses so many barriers to effective education for our youth and the lack of proper supplies should not be one of those barriers. If you are interested, please select a child (or several children) from the list below. You will be responsible for getting all the things on the school supply list for that child, depending on their grade and specific school. We are also asking that you purchase a backpack that would be appropriate for that child. You can do this as an individual or a group of friends! The average cost for one child is $75 (but if you are a super shopper, you can definitely get it all for cheaper). Target has recently launched a School List Assist that you might find useful.
Supplies will need to be dropped off in the lobby of the John A. Burns School of Medicine (651 Ilalo Street) by Friday, July 25, 2025. Please notate the child's Recipient ID # on the donation. The child's Recipient ID # will be emailed to you. Post-its to label your donation will be provided in the lobby.
If you don't have time to shop, you can also make a donation to help sponsor one of our Keiki and we will do the shopping for you!
